I've had just the opposite experience. Woogie is one one of my boys and I added the 'man' because, well, I'm a guy. I can't tell you how many people have thought I was a female, despite the name. I guess it's just because guys are a minority here so many just assume everyone's a girl. I get it less now that more people know me but Ive had a good laugh or two from it.
