the man things I like to see in a contract are
1. spay/neuter obligation
2. obligation to turn the dog over to the breeder and NOT a shelter, rescue, or new home (unless pre-approved by the breeder) if the situation arises in which they can no longer keep the new puppy.
3. obligation to keep the puppy as an indoor only pet.

I really like # 2, I have already considered this one. I will have a fit if someone buys a pup from me and gives it away or puts it in a shelter.
How do you know if someone goes against the contract? I've seen a post on here where someone has found a pup in a rescue that came from a breeder on YT. So how would that breeder know the pup was in a rescue unless someone told them?
