I'm sure environment has something to do with how they behave also. I probably shouldn't have said Gracie was hyper, she's just more 'active' than Carly, and Carly loves everyone, where Gracie initially is more guarded...not that has anything to do with the question. I just thought maybe an experienced breeder here might have noticed a pattern of mellowing
- or not - that I could pass on to someone. Maybe any changes are subtle enough no one noticed in their dogs (though I'd think an experienced breeder would be attune to these sorts of things???but maybe not), anyway, I lean with the others that age certainly could be a contributor to "mellowing/emotional maturing" as well has motherhood. ~KC
