Hello Mary,
It is refreshing to see someone one here that will not put up with rudeness. I have seen others "attempt" to put a stop to it to no avail, but who knows, it might work. There have been many people here that have tried to seek information regarding sick pets, etc and have received remarks like "I can't believe you don't know about nutri-cal, looks like you haven't done your homework" or the ones that don't have a vet within a 100 miles and they get on here for help and they keep getting "I can't believe you won't take your poor dog to the vet, don't you realize it needs help now" when the pup is hypogycemic. It is sad. Like you, and so many others, I came here li for the love of the breed, to learn as much as I can and to make friends with people that love the breed. I don't want to ask a question only to get shot down or made fun of. I truly want to learn as much as I can and who better to learn from then fellow yorkie lovers that have "already been there, done that". I won't say I haven't learned a lot here, because I have, however the rude remarks that continue are totally uncalled for and meaningless. I know all of us here love the breed but I do believe we can learn from one another in a civil adult manner, sharing ones education so that our precious little yorkies will get the very best care possible, because when the day is done I believe that is all we really want, the very best for the breed.
Welcome to Yorkie Talk!
