To all you big eared Yorkies out there: The secret to making your ears look more in-proportion to your head is in the grooming... the upper half to a third of the ear only should be trimmed/clipped to the shape of the ear, If the ear tip itself is rounded, trim the hair to a point. Leave the lower half - 2/3 of the ear untouched. When looking at the ears, this tricks the eye into seeing the lower part of the ears as part of the head, and the eye sees the trimmed portion as the ear. Experiment with the amount of hair left on the ear to find the most natural look...
