give rambo a treat each time you put him in his crate. sternly tell him no barking or quiet when whimpering at night. but you have to be stern. i hate to say it but the whinning will last about 2 weeks maybe more for rambo to understand. later he will just walk into his cage but will still expect a treat each time. i took me 2 weeks i only crated them at night or when i wasnt home after a few weeks they get the hang of it. when my pups see me pick up my keys they know its time to go in their crate and they willingly walk in there. they even sleep in there when they dont want to be bothered.it takes time and patients. and yes it will be very fustrating stay strong
