Yes, litmus paper. It comes with a guide telling you if it turns this color the pH is ...., if it turns that color the pH is ...... If the number is high it means it is alkaline, if it is low it is more acidic. You want it to be some where near 5.5 (+/-) for it to be beneficial to the skin.
