On my last two vet visits, the vet mentioned Roxie having luxating patellas in her rear legs. I did a bit of research, and see that it's common in small breed dogs.

If Roxie is showing no symptoms of a problem, how concerned should I be?

She doesn't limp, and she loves to run around. She doesn't show any signs of discomfort or pain. She does do quite a lot of hopping around on her hind legs (we jokingly call her a circus dog when she does this). Should I be discouraging this action?
