Buddy is not alone. Daisy is the same way. If she hears a toot, off she goes! I have a little squeaker that I hide under the covers at bedtime that we play with. She loves to dig and try to find it. One night, I put it between my fingers and it made a kind of toot sound. Daisy jumped, ran down her steps and out into the living room. She would not come back! Finally had to go get her. It is very funny, but I would suggest you find someone else to suffer the blame!
