They sell grass in containers for dogs and cats. It is supposed to be good for them. And, they certainly do seem to love it.

Both of my dogs eat grass whenever they are outside. They particularly love the newer, longer grass around trees and fence posts.

If a dog ever throws up after eating grass - it is not because they ate the grass, but rather because a piece got stuck in their throat - causing them to gag.

I'm sure grass is good for dogs - my two healthy dogs feast on it every chance they get. (Guess it's the vegetarian in them.)
