does she only do this when Katie is around? I read on yahoo that it could be a dominence thing, I just also read a tummy problem. Dogs sometimes hunch when they don't feel well.
I would see if she does it when katie is not there. If she does still do it then I would have her checked out at the vets and see what they say.
Is your vet good with calling for advice? You could always call and just tell them the situation and see what they think.
