What test was done to determine that it was Giardia? If it was a stool antigen test, I believe that only determines if there are Giardia antibodies - which would mean she either has it or has had it. I went through about a year of antibiotics for h.pylori, and finally had a specialist say I didn't have it, but had antibodies for it and I had it previously, but that the tests I had been given only tested for antibodies, not the actual organism. |
