Hi..sorry for your incident...This is my biggest peeve with owners of dogs who just don't care...and let their dogs run on and never notice what they are doing until its too late..
And especially when a large dog runs over and my Dustie panics and wraps himself around my legs...I do try not to pick him up now..in case it makes him more afraid...but when the owners just say..."Oh dear your little Dog is so timid isn't he" my bllod boils over...and I have been known to go on the defensive...I find it so annoying...
I often wish I was walking a large Alsation or something similar along with my little Yorkie..and then see how many other dogs would approach in quite the same manner..
So I do know how it feels...but as there will always be inconsiderate Dog owners out there..guess we all have to be very aware when out walking.
