This is how I do it, too...I give them about 5 minutes of stopping, sniffing, sqatting, and then it's on we go...If they slow down, I just give a gentle tug...About 10 min. later, another sniff, pee or two, then on we go...This goes on for about 30 minutes...I gave up on any real exercise, for me;I walk on the treadmill, while they're napping lol...
