Believe me Lesley, not many things are more disgusting, sickening, vile, and heartbreaking than these dog auctions. I've attended several (before I had a change of heart and mind) and the things I've seen happen at these auctions, made me cry for days.....I still cry just thinking about the poor dogs.
Your Lily is one of the lucky ones.....she got out of puppymill hell!
Try not to focus to much on where she came from, but do let her be your catalyst for fighting to stop puppymills.
