You don't necessarily need to keep them together ALL the time by giving them both run of the house together. Just when your home and are able to pay attention to both of them. Maybe try small increments of time several times a day and work with Bailey to calm down when your cat is around. Bring the cat around her while she is already calm... maybe take her for a nice long walk before you do the introductions, so Bailey will be kind of tired out (hopefully). As she exhibits more and more self control, then you can bring them together for longer periods of time.
