I guess I started out the wrong way with Betty Boop. I spoiled her from the minute I put her in the car to bring her home 6 months ago. She has ridden on my left shoulder ever since. I realized how dangerous this was the older she got and bought her a car seat where she could look out the window. Needless to say, she won't stay in it, no matter what bribe I use. Her place in the car is on my left shoulder, curled up and looking out the window. The only place I really take her is to PetSmart or PetCo a couple times a month or we just go for a joy ride around town a couple of times a week.
