I think your vet is trying to make you comfortable - they're ALL toxic to a degree. Which is why I wish with all the geniuses in the world - why can't someone come up with a NON TOXIC flea preventative that actually WORKS
When I treated my yard I never ever had fleas with any of my pets. NEVER
PS - NEVER EVER USE HARTZ PRODUCTS - they're the absolute worst -
