Last night as Oliver and I were getting into bed, I noticed a lump on his back. It's under the skin and hard. I'm freaking out. I lose my last dog to cancer and it was the most horrific 6 months of my life. Lost lots of people to it lately, too.

I'm reading that the rabies vaccine can cause lumps that eventually go away - Oliver WAS vaccinated last Tuesday... so I hope and pray that that's all it is, a reaction to the vaccine. I'm going to call the vet from work today...

Please keep him in thoughts and prayers... he's been through hell and back and deserves a good, long life. He's finally learning that life is good and that he's loved.
