mine had this a 3- 4 months, I think he had it when I bought him but not sure
vet said they can get it from eating another dog's poop also (if that dog had it) but we also took ours camping 3 weeks after we brought him home, he was 12 weeks when I bought him, so it fits the timeline. You have to keep all poop picked up right away. It cleared up with no problem with the medicine. I didn't let anyone touch mine until he was better. the medicine made mine poop a lot but not actually diahrrea, it didn't make him vomit either. And I never contracted it from him and I still carried him & played with him all the time. But didn't let him lick my face.
