Thanks for everyone's well wishes. I'm glad to hear it's normal to be nervous!

I may have to put bringing her home on hold. Last night as Oliver and I were going to bed, I found a large lump on his back. It doesn't seem to hurt, but it's big and solid. I am terrified. I need to find out what's going on with him and perhaps have the breeder keep the dog longer until then. Now all I can think about is losing Ollie and how I am setting myself up for that AGAIN with the new pup. Hopefully not so soon, but eventually. Oliver is only approx. 2 yrs old (puppymill rescue, will never know his true age) so he still has a LOT of life to live. Crazy how life can change so much in a matter of seconds... I'd really rather be nervous about the puppy again...
