I fed Wellness puppy food. It was the 3rd food I tried & it agreed with her real well. Now she's older and on Wellness small breed food. She's doing very well on it. Never any issues.
Itchiness can be due to not rinsing thoroughly enough when you bath her. There are other causes, but that's one of them. An oatmeal based shampoo/conditioner can be helpful with itchiness too.
Bursts of energy... Honey, welcome to the 'zoomies'!!! lol! This is very normal behavior. Don't worry about it, sit back & enjoy it. You're not likely to catch her during one of these spells, so just enjoy! A few mornings ago, just as I was waking up, Roxy jumped onto my feet, ran up the entire length of my body to my head, flipped around, ran down to my feet, down off the bed and out of the room. I guess she was telling me to get up. lol! Now if I could only program her... I'm a very sound sleeper & don't hear alarms. : ) |
