Was it a preservative in certain brands, maybe? I can't remember for sure either.
My girls LOVE carrots. I had to slack of a bit b/c Maddie was getting were she would only eat when her food had carrots in it and sometimes eat just the carrots...such a brat.
Carrots themselves are healthy treats.
