I'm hoping it is normal to be nervous. We picked up our puppy a week ago on Monday. I was a nervous wreck even on the way home. The puppy was great, never cried at night, sleeps in a crate by my bed just fine. But I was a mess for days. I worried that it was a bad decision getting a dog, that I would never be able to go anywhere again, and about every thing I've read about ever since I started this thing.
Well, he is a sweet little thing. He is as good as a puppy can be. Doesn't have a clue about potty issues, but it doesn't seem to matter. We are finally getting a schedule of some sort. Everyone loves him and wants to come see him. It is a challenge and a lot of work, but so far has been good and my nerves are calming down.
