I agree with you. I came from a family where it was ok to laugh at yourself! It did not hold any self esteem meaning other than you could joke about yourself without feeling intimidated by it. Consequently, I always joke about something I did or said and so does my son, it holds no meaning other than a good laugh.

Anyways, I personally think that I am the most modest, the best, brightest , prettiest, nicest, kindest......LOL
