I bought it too.(sample set) and I'm very surprised. I too was thrown off by the waxy feeling, but since YTer Walnut Hill (maker of product) warned of it and it's watery consistency I just went with it. I'm happy that the smell is still there, faint but there which of course makes my sensitive nose happy. As for Yorkie Jack's question, it's been asked before so my understanding is that it is sensitive and it is an organic shampoo. The maker doesn't want to falsely advertise as she does not know what exactly would classify something tear less. It is gentle, and I've used it liberally on Kaji's face and he didn't seem to mind.
