you should definitely check it out if that's something you are interested in and have time(it doesn't pay very well for most people though, you would mostly do it because you love it). i think you will have to work with Kaji to make sure he is not afraid. i have met a yorkie superstar who's featured in many pet magazines, trade shows, pet expos and television programs. oh and was also featured in Animal Planet.

anyways, the key is that the dog is very obidient and has to not be scared so they can work on his hair, dress him/lighting, and be able to finish the photoshoot very fast. the dog cannot move for a long stretches of time while they are taking photos. because they don't want to deal with that as it would take too long. they said that the dog's ability to do that is more important the the dog's cuteness.

and honestly, i think unless the dog enjoys stuff like that, which i don't think most dogs will. then it's really not going to be fun for you or your doggie.

the dog superstar i meet was really cute, but not that friendly to other people and dogs. but he is able to deal with all the things a superstar has to deal with, so that makes him a good candidate to be a dog model/superstar.
