 not chewing kibble?
My Maddie has been eating Natural Balance small bites with a little of the food roll grated in it because she tends to be picky. I live in a small town and the Natural Balance is not available here, but Taste of the Wild is. It would be a lot more convenient to be able to purchase here instead of having to plan a trip for when we need fodd. I contacted TOTW and they sent me samples of two varieties of TOTW. The kibble size is larger than the NB small bites. I could actually hear Maddie crunching the kibble. I never hear that when she is eating the NB. I am wondering if she is swallowing the NB whole?
She is not a chewer at all. Has toys, bully sticks, himylayn chews (spelling not right, I know), etc. but doesn't chew much at all so I am wondering if the larger kibble that she has to chew would be better for her? She is 7lbs but acts like the larger kibble is a chore for her to chew. Maybe just because her jaws are not use to it? |
