Kacee never had motion sickness, but my lil Muffin did. I continued to take her in the car and not feeding her long enough before and she soon was over it. We were able to take our first vacation together after a few months.
Of course, I know they are all different. So, I would definitely not feed her so soon before a walk or car ride - go with 2 hrs before - and talk to your vet and see what they can do to help if it continues.
