Hello and welcome to YT! Sounds like you know what you want, my only advice is to be patient and don't jump on the first thing you see, especially if you don't trust something about it. I just adopted a 2 yr old female and couldn't be happier about it, she's such a sweetie and is exactly the way you described...loves my other dog and loves to cuddle most the day.It took me months to find her but when i did i knew she was the right one.
