I was in your situation a few years back when I used to raise my registered Bengal cats (not the tigers

). There was an angry lady who was living with 90 cats and she had them taken away from her. I had my stud male (spraying, not suitable for in the home) in a nice roomy outdoor caged area on my deck. One day I had the SPCA show up on my deck to investigate without any warning. She checked to make sure my cats had food and water and as she was leaving she said in her Australian accent "These cats are bloody well spoiled". I was angry that "someone" had reported me but also could appreciate the fact that the SPCA lady was doing what was best for my cats. Some people are just not mentally balanced, guess it's what makes the world an interesting place.
I am so glad you were there when that little pup needed your help. Good luck with your inspection, find neighbours and friends who know how you treat your pets and feel proud of how you care for them!
