I have only spent about $200 on Scotch's medical expenses,except for the surgery and emergency room visit he just had which was about $1800. After the first year, you only go to the vet once, and that's about $80 for me. Pet insurance is a good idea, especially if thereis an accident. It's just like car insurance, you hope you don't have to use it, but if you do, it comes in real handy!!
