Canned food will cause a pup or dog to poop a lot and often make it loose as well. And it has barely any nutrition value to it. Plus, it is not good for their teeth. I have never given a puppy canned food even when I wean them..
Except Pennie and that was because she wasn't eating and we had to force feed her with a syringe for 5 weeks and the canned was prescription and was very high in protein and fat.
