Don't get me wrong, I would be upset too

. Be sure to tell the shelter representative of what you suspect of this neighbor, and that you think she may be a "repeat reporter" of
false animal issues - the Animal Control Officer will add this to the report. Make sure you give the neighbor's address/name. If this person/neighbor is wasting resources of your local shelter, they may be able to flag her name/address/phone number when she calls in the future

if/when she makes false reports.

I respect your opinion...but I'm not really understanding the posts like this on this thread. So, it seems on this board we all want to protect animals -- but when a local shelter is following up on something -- they should have a warrant? What if animals
were dying or being abused? There is time for that?
Your local shelters are there to protect animals from potential abuse

. If a person has nothing to hide, why put up roadblocks for people who are trying to do their job? These local Animal Officers see horrible things day in/day out - it is such a tough job to witness what they see. So, I just think it's sad to see people encouraging others to make their job even tougher

. Sorry, just had to say this - as I've met/interacted w/ these officers (thru animals I've found here in Phoenix) and have the utmost respect for what they go through.

Hang in there, Im sorry your upset, but you have the law on your side. |

Exactly.
