I guess w/so many species of pine trees, the ones down here, and the ones up there, may be different...No doubt, the roots of those up there are poisonous...Glad you're pup got well....Now that those seed pods seem dryer, they don't seem so interested, and I'm hollering no, everytime they go to get one...The other person talked about raking...Omg'sh, you have no idea what an area I would have to rake...they're all over my back yard...My little guys seem o.k...I think they liked them, better, when they first fell, and were probably moist...I'll still stay vigilent, watching them...I'm trying to walk them a little more, so there's less backyard time...Anyway, the backyard time is a bit unnerving for me, anyway, because of the durn hawks...I think they're feeding their young, right now, and it's a constant eye to the sky...As soon as I see them, I hit the backdoor calling my babies in....Wow, these babies are high maintenance!!!
