I agree with your Mother!! I didn't use mine until several months after I bought it, as it was one of those "whims"!
My friend & I unpacked it one day and tried it and I have been loving it ever since. One of my favorite things is grating real Italian parm! Once you taste the real thing, you will never eat Kraft again!!
The only regret I have is, I bought the 7 cup and really should have chosen a larger size!
