The fruit itself is not poisonous, but the seed is. It's actually toxic & it can cause a blockage. Momo had to have surgery when he was a pup bc he actually swallowed the whole fruit w/the seed.
It got stuck in the entrance of the small intestines & it caused a severe ulcer in his stomach. Those 2 weeks were the worst days of my life. Still get heart aches from thinking about what he went through.
