That's right, they have a few sweat glands, mostly on the pads of their feet, but humans have them all over our bodies. Dogs pant to cool themselves down, and that's why they can't take high temperatures as well as humans. Make sure your dog has plenty of fresh water when it's hot, and never leave them in a closed car.
