Terry Shumsky was perhaps the most vocal woman fighting the "liver Shunt" and one of the best mentor and breeders ever of Yorkshire Terrier. She and John will be greatly missed.

She had failing health for the past three years as well as the duty taking care of her husband John with failing health. Both were admitted into the hospital on the same day and died within 4 hours of one another on March 26th 2005.
She was very kind to me, I was very fortunate she mentored me long distance until she introduced me to Jan Angel. Everyone that met her loved and respected her, please say a pray for her and John as they rest in Yorkie heaven.
here are some links about her and also her book published on the Breed.
