I think it really has a lot to do with parenting,,,, oh no I said the P word!!
By teaching your children the right way to behave around animals, and supervising them when they are around your pups, you are facilitating correct behavior. I think the problem lies when you have people who do not believe in the supervision part. Children will be children and sometimes do not know their own strength. That is when issues arise.
However, it sounds like you are doing everything in your power to educate them on how to behave, which is very admirable, especially in these times. I am sure that your little one will come around, especially since her older sister is so in love with him. Plus having an older sister to help her learn the right way to behave with "HER" pup, lol, I am sure the little one will want to follow in her sisters footsteps. |
