I think I'd do it at 10 weeks in this case, but have zero scientific studies to back up my response. Waiting is fine as long as pup is not exposed to anything. Ellie was vaccinated for the first time at about 7.5 weeks, I think. She was probably just less than 1.8 pounds and did fine (I wasn't there, but no problems were reported to me). I'm sure many Yorkies are vaccinated at that weight without a problem, but of course there are no guarantees and you'll really almost have to do it in the next week or two anyway or pup will be stuck inside for a long time.
