My Myshkha had cushings but like Wyliesmom says in her it went undiagnosed, the vet putting her sudden weight gain on the fact she wasn't very mobile after surgery for L.P. WE never realised until she had to go to an emergency vet with her who advised me tp get a blood test done. Unfortunately it was too late as we lost her the very next day on the way back to the vets after she collapsed. When I think of the months she spent suffering because of the vets misdiagnosis it makes me feel so guilty and angry as I found her behaviour so hard to understand. She too wa 11 when she developed it. Hope your baby feels better soon. |
