The other day I brought Owen to my boyfriend's house so he could run around in their backyard. They have quite a bit of land all fenced in and Owen went insane. Even when he calmed down though, I couldn't get his attention... he was so distracted. At home in my apartment, he pays attention.. but I think that's because he's familiar with the space and it's quite small.

I'd love to bring him to a dog park or something, but I am worried about him not coming when I call.

I haven't really worked with him on it yet, but what do you guys suggest for training as far as techniques go? He responds well to treats and the clicker.
