I don't know if this is the right place to ask but I will anyway. What do you mean by a cotton coat? I think that is describing our new puppy's coat. Our other yorkie's coat is smooth and hardly ever tangles. The new puppy however gets mats and look horrible all the time. I thought maybe he wasn't getting enough vitamins or something. So is this a genetic thing? Sorry bout my ignorence.
