It is mostly just consistency and frequency. Mine actually like it to a certain extent now because the brushing is like massage and they are used to having me do their hair. It used to always take two people but now I can do all of them by myself when I have to. The trick is not to let them get away with getting out of it with their shenanigans. They have to know that the sooner they hold still the sooner they are done and get to play or get a treat or someother reward you choose.
