Welcome and I love your story. I too have a husband who thinks all dogs belong outside. It took alot of work to make him see otherwise. I've said it before and I will say it again, he thought if a dog wasn't herding cattle, guarding a chicken coop, or securing the perimeter- why and the heck have a DOG! He grew up that way ( in the country) where as I grew up with animals in the house. Cats, dogs, iguanas, rabbits, hamster etc.. but I knew if we got a big dog and stuck him out back- that is where he would be today- OUTBACK! I wanted a indoor family dog. We have had Roxie for 9 months ( she is almost a year) and my husband loves her too. She went to the groomers this morning and was gone for several hours. My husband actually said, "Geez the house is quite without Roxie! " See he missed her too. So just wait! Yorkies are loved by all!
