I should have thought better of my boy but began to inspection the living room and kitchen for any signs. As I found nothing, I decided to check my room and that's when I had noticed he had gone to his pad in order to relieve himself. I can't explain how happy I was, as a result, Miloh got a treat and a tummy rub. Throughout the night, Miloh did well on the pad, he only had one accident. It seems to be like Samy is beginning to get the hang of it, hopefully he will let the issue of the paper chewing go. One thing is that whatever Yorkies do, whether good or bad, the look on their face after they're caught is priceless.
That's great news! He will slowly start improving. Next thing you know he'll be asking you to follow him to the pad so he can get his treat and belly rub for a job well done. It takes them a while to connect the reward with the action but if you continue to praise the good, ignore the bad, and immediately reward him for a job well done he'll get it.
