that was just starting costs so one view i guess. that's why it sounded so big to me. only one picture starts at 200. how about if they needed 5 views :S
anyways i'm willing to spend what i have to, i just wanted to get second opinions more than anything. if we can't get in tomorrow morning somewhere else at a better rate, then we've already got an appt. at our reg. vet tomorrow reguardless. we'll have the recheck and if they really suggest the x ray then she'll have one done. i don't want a hairline fracture to be healing wrong or an LP to be just left that way. she's never whined and eats fine. i really doubt it's broken, and rather a sprain that's taking awhile to heal, but i don't want to assume at this point either. also, the vet did say that some dogs have very high pain tolerance and i've always thought that my girl might be one of those dogs.
pray guys that it's nothing and will just heal up quickly. i sure don't want her to have anything major here. poor dear.
and yes, it's costly, but in the long run worth every penny to have her and thank God we have more than enough to spare on her care and the very best we can give her.
