Hope she's ok, didn't know she had injured herself, was it a fall, or jumping from too high? I'm sorry you are going through this, and praying she get better soon. Does she act like she's in pain, if so, I'd definitely get the x-rays no matter what the cost. |
we're going tomorrow somewhere no matter what for sure.
she was going up her puppy steps (only three of them) and dh saw this so it's all what he's told me, but he says she was on the top step about to make a small leap to the bed that she does all the time and on the top step her front paws went straight up and she fell straight backwards onto her butt. when she stood up she was limping. she's never whined or made a peep one time this whole time. this happened on Wed. morning and we took her in then, they gave her anti-inflammatory shot and some meds for the week. we gave them two days in a row and stopped because she was vomitting from it. she's fine now tummy wise, but her leg though she's using it much more is still being favored some and it's worried me that she just might have a fracture and not just a sprain so i'm going to get something done to make sure.
i just really would rather go to someone better than banfield if possible and i do think that 200 starting costs might be a bit outrageous compared to the other, better and more experienced vets in the area. we'll see.
