Spiritwings is so very right....I think only the mommy knows her dog the most and can go with what she feels right. The VERY knowledgable people here are only giving you their opinions based on their experiences...they are not trying to make the rules for you!! You just have to read what everyone says and make something work for you and your baby. I have learned so much here from these great people.....and I would definately take action based on opinions from these people before I would from a book...If I were a breeder myself, I would recommend joining YT as part of the deal!! YT is what I would call your 1 Stop website!!
